Kathleen Bell, RN, MSN, CNM, AHN-BC, MSI-BC, AHN-BC

Her 40 year career has focused on Maternal–Child nursing, Nurse-Midwifery, nursing and consumer education, integrative women’s health care and meditation. An experienced public speaker, Kathleen has held national certifications as an instructor in Electronic Fetal Monitoring, Neonatal Resuscitation Program instructor (NRP), and Childbirth Education/Instructor Trainer (ICEA). She is currently certified by the American Holistic Nurses Association as an Advanced Holistic Nurse. Her publications are varied, including a manual for parents in childbirth education, a chapter on Medications for Women in a popular Pharmacology textbook used by nurse practitioner programs, and a chapter on Childbearing Families in an award-winning textbook on Family Nursing. Now a retired Assistant Professor of Nursing, Kathleen regularly teaches and presents on meditation and holistic healing. She also consults independently under the business name of Northern Light: Illuminating the Path to Wholeness.
