My journey into yoga and mediation began in 2001. I first started a yoga practice at a local night school and continued the journey to become a yoga teacher in 2006. Yoga brings, peace, joy, and calmness into my life. My studies eventually took me to the Yoga Institute, in Mumbai India, which further enhanced the training I all ready received.
I love teaching yoga. It is joy to be able to help others find their inner peace. In taking the practice further I attended the Meditation Specialist training at the Himalayan Institute. The meditation practice complements the yoga practice. With a daily practice of meditation and yoga, one is able to find that core inner calm and serenity. Life can be hectic. Between yoga and meditation, stress is reduced and serenity is achieved.

During the day I am a project administrator for a financial institution. Other activities that I enjoy include, hiking, cooking, biking, swimming, and reading. I enjoy spending time with family, friends, and my two cats.
