Petaluma Clinic 3

Well I just returned home from a clinic 3 training in Petaluma. The 4 days were absolutely wonderful as we all gathered with many new stories and experiences. The food was exceptional. Mornings started with an asana class followed by breakfast. Then we gathered for some science discussion for the rest of the morning and practicum in the afternoon. It seemed to just fly by as before we knew it we were heading back to the airport.

Hello Petaluma group. Hope you all had a gentle trip home. So good to see you all again. The practice time was so helpful and the yoga/meditation mornings were my favorite. The last mornings session in particular was a real boost. Sitting with all of you in breathing and silence was encouraging and uplifting. Thanks for the support and keep up the good work.
Blessings, Molly from Napa
p.s. Meals seem a bit dull without you all!

Susan,
That was an awesome clinic( and I don't use the word lightly) The relaxation and meditation came in very handy as Gaby drove the car into a field( she has some stiffness in her neck and shoulders, but is otherwise ok) and we spent a jolly time at the car repair shop and getting a rental to get home. Still not sure if the car is totalled or if it can be repaired. Any way I was calm and centered throughout the ordeal and mainly I'm so relieved that Gaby is ok.
A new twist on stress, eh?

Dear Dr. Taylor: I just want to say "Thank you" for such an enlightening Clinic! I learned what the objectives were and the material that you presented helped to Clarify and Demystify some matter that was of vital importance to me. Thanks again. Trust all is well with you and yours. Best.

Thanks, Susan, and Dody, for everything!
Hope you all are home safe and sound, and look forward to seeing you all at Clinic 4 in March!

Hi everyone, This is my third attempt to post a comment. Computer challenged. AT any rate, I felt very relieved after clinic 3 as I was very fearful of becoming paralyzed in front of the group. It turns out that I can close my eyes and lead the group using my own practice for relaxation and meditation, aloud.NOw it's practice, practice, practice. Thanks for being such a wonderful group of people. I feel very fortunate to have met you all and hope we keep in touch. (Hope I can figure out this computer). Have a great fall and winter. Leslie

Hi everyone--
Thank you again for welcoming this Honesdale student into your group. I had a GREAT 4 days learning with you. The Noetic Institue is a wonderful environment for learning-although I did miss the Himalayan Institue a bit.
Susan, as usual, you taught an inspiring seminar.
Hope to see you all in the Spring.

Paula here from Oklahoma. I concur with everthing that has been said so far in this blog regarding the 3rd clinic in Petaluma. The clinic really solidified that teaching relaxation and meditation to others is a very REAL possibility for me and is so needed for such an anxious world.
I miss all my friends from the clinic.
Love and Peace,
Paula

Missing being in the field of our group in Petaluma. Meditations are good, but lower energy than when we are all together. So to that end, I am visualizing the group before going into my meditation and feel I am able to go more deeply into the meditation. I have been praticing the relaxation sequence and am axious to use it during my next Lamaze class(rather than the one I have used for years). Hope you are all well...keep in touch. Debby

Debby,

New Year, New beginning. There are times when I feel the same. I have been doing some 1:1 training at work and that seems to help with the practice. Just say it over and over and let it flow naturally. The words will come. I find that if I miss something I just keep speaking in the same tone and moving on. Hope this helps. Hi to all. See you soon!
