Are You Meditating Effectively
Our event at Central Mass Yoga was quite extraordinary. The group was so eager for new information, many of whom had already been in a meditation practice. We took the meditation IQ test and participants were astonished how they could improve their practice. The class agenda was simple as we experienced the 5 steps to sustaining a meditation practice. Many participants were surprised how a simple adjustment to their posture made it so much easier to sit for meditation. I listen to your C D late night that I purchased from you and it was exactly what I have been looking for.My Sunday night instrutor Joan Platt does a Restorative Yoga class that I have going to sense she started it.The class is an hour an 15 minutes long and it the most peaceful calming monent in my entire week.It give me strenght to keep going.I also go to a Beginner yoga /level 1 class on Tuesday night with Jeanette Allen and both insturtor are always using one or more of the exact session in class and I have always want to try /use the session at home but did not where to get a copy that I could listen to.Lucy Wagner uses the same methods a the Yoga Reteat also with are very restful and helpful.I guess what I am trying to say is that the C D was very helpful to me and was exactly what I wanted/ needed.I also wanted to say that enjoyed your class very much and look forward to you coming back to do more class.I am also very intrested learning more about Meditation. Dear susan I have been practicing counting meditation ,so when I walk my dogs at night I count ,It is so incredible how much I have improved ,now I talk all the time ,instead only listen to the cds.The best think could ever happen to me was to attend your class,this has been the best year of my life ,you don't understand how much my life has improved,love always.Cassia
Hi I was wondering if someone could tell me just what am I supposed to be feeling when I meditate or if I'm meditating effectively. Once I felt as if I were a wave in the middle of the ocean and all of the sudden I had an insight and I began to tell myself "I am not what happened to me" I feel since then I've let go of some guilt about my past and labels about myself.
