Focused Awareness
Where is your mind centered right at this moment? Are you thinking about yesterday, a few moments ago, or something that happened years ago? Maybe a distant memory? A conversation with friends? Some line from a movie you saw? Or, are you focused on the future? Worrying or wondering how something will turn out based on some expectation, projection, or calculation?
Someone asks you what you are doing, and you really don't know. You are doing so many things that you can't seem to stay focused and move through them.
Yet, we move through life very quickly, often having little attention for the current moment -- the moment that is inside us this very second. Utilizing tools like breath awareness, meditation, yoga, and the intention to be present in each moment, you can further explore the possibilities: What would it feel like to be completely connected to spirit in each moment? Not reliving the past or planning for the future-simply allowing yourself to be: breath by breath. You will find by learing to be focused yet aware of your environment will save time and energy. You will actually feel time slowing down. Our meditation programs teach the fundamental principles of learning to be focused and aware at the same time. Visit our store at www.DrSusanTaylor.com
